Need Temperature Controller - specifications are as follows:


  • Documentation REQUIRED before purchasing samples for evaluation:
    • Need communications protocol document for review with sample controllers - I can not buy samples until I see this.
    • Need to see operationals manual before buying samples.
    • If you have a simple Visual Basic routine it is a plus *( source code! - so I can learn how to make my code work!! )
  • Controller Type = PID
  • Multiple input types: Must work with K type
    • good if works with following types also: R,S,K,J,T,E,RTD,L,U
  • Push Button inputs ( NOT Thumb Wheel )
  • Dual Digital readouts - 4 digits each
  • Temperature range with K thermocouple = 2300 deg F
  • Prefer to be able to choose Fahrenheit or Celsius
  • Serial Communications
    • Prefer zascii over modbus
    • Prefer model that has both RS-232 and RS-422 communications option


  • Output Type:= SSR output drive pulse PWM on / off modulation
  • write only to RAM unless I specify NVRAM when I set the desired temperature - to avoid destroying NonVolatile RAM with repeated writes
  • Form Factor: 1/16 or 1/4 DIN
  • Power= 100 - 240 VAC input power
