In engineering our product is information. Only those areas that receive attention are the ones that have potential problems resolved. Thus in manufacturing support it is very important to be tireless in investigating manufacturing problems. I am an engineer that understands how important it is to listen to the manufacturing personel. For a good design engineer it is not an option to merely throw the design over the wall to the manufacturing personel.
