Plot Outline

• Plot device: At all points there are 2 explanations for what happens as follows:
• -1- its real - Show from point of view of ManAlien. His trips in saucer - his correspondence with Alpha Centauri
• -2- its a hoax - this is the cover - can sucessfully wipe out effects of ManAlien revealing himself by leaving the impression it was all just an elaborate "street entertainment" magic show illusion

• - ManAlien glides to earth. Fly in scene shows Earth on the view screen.
• - Solid metal ship shows up one day in rural location. No one saw it fly in. ManAlien gets out of the ship.

• - You Earthers can not possibly understand me. We have evolved further than you. Just as fish have evolved instincts to return home to spawn we have the benefit of a million more years in a technological setting. We are cool, calculating and objective on one hand and of high emotional intelligence on the other. Your childish manipulations will not work on me. I see right through you Mr. President.

• Corrupts politicians who lust after his alien technology. ManAlien uses the Hadleyburg method on them promising it to all of them.
• Eventually gives a small fusion reactor to the president - president then is diverted by environmentalists and beliefs that ManAlien is a fake. Thus the reactor sits idle and untested. It is repossessed by ManAlien.
• Promises to help PresidentUSA lower the sea level - HUGE EYE ROLL by ManAlien -

• ManAlien tries to educate the president by using the tale of King Canute. I wisk him back in time to where King Canute is on the beach. The throne is being placed. I introduce President Bo to King Canute. They shake hands and chat a bit. Canute is very wise. He excuse himself and goes to sit on the throne. Whereupon the tide comes in and soaks him. President Bo sees this and wades over to King Canute and asks to be let try in place of Canute on the throne. Canute goes over to ManAlien. President Bo sits on the throne and puts his fist in the air. You see a close up of his fist with a ring on it. He cries out "SHAZOOM" and hope and change waves radiate out with the sound of a cartoon ray gun. The sea levels are unchanged afterwards. Canute shakes his head and says "you have your hands full with this one ManAlien"

• Solution BeyAir Co Zay in my alien tongue is touted by the president. Later I translate for him that the solution is a beer cooze for the earth.

• It appears to be a con. The ManAlien is exposed by investigative reporter as a hoax on a plywood set. Clandestine footage is shot.

• BossAlien phones ManAlien on Earth: What the hell are you up to down there? You know they are not ready for contact. They still elect mostly lawyers to be their representative politicians. You KNOW what lawyers mean. Clean it up! Standard solution #189 and #210! "By your command"(Cylon) - ManAlien commits. Plan 189 is to let them find a soundstage set mockup of spaceship interior and plan 210 is to give them a vision of the future identical to the 1938's World Fair.
